Ne(m)o Reliquarium.
Copper, enamel, sterling silver, plastic and glass beads, natural dyed wool, leather, timber, glass and found objects.
Coral-inspired “greef” jewellery is presented within a reliquarium, positioning adornment as both memorial and warning.
Drawing on the visual language of natural history specimens and mourning objects, intricately enamelled coral forms are preserved in vivid colour while a blackened presence encroaches upon their protective glass housing.
This tension between radiance and decay suggests ecological fragility and impending loss. The works function as potential future relics of climate change, referencing marine ecosystems increasingly threatened by human impact.
When removed from the reliquarium and worn, the jewellery transforms into an embodied gesture of remembrance, inviting reflection on protection, reverence, and environmental responsibility.
